By the conclusion of this unit, students should be able to demonstrate the following competencies:
• Sort shapes into groups made up of members sharing the same attributes.
• Compare shapes based on attributes.
• Find and name shapes in the environment.
• Use shapes to create representations of items in the environment.

• Create shapes, both 2 and 3 dimensional.
• Divide a collection of objects into equal parts (halves, fourths).
